What's the story behind Due North Pierogi Company?
The tradition of making pierogi came to our family from the old country when our great-grandparents emigrated from Europe about 100 years ago and settled in the Great Lakes region. No matter where our family has moved over the years, making and eating pierogi has always pointed our thoughts back to where we came from. We use great-grandma's original dough recipe to create pierogi that remind people of home – wherever that may be.
What does "Due North" mean?
The name reflects how pierogi has always been our family's compass, pointing us back to our roots and heritage, no matter where life takes us.
